Memory Vessels
These works on paper were painted during my 2022 residency at Ballinglen Arts Foundation in County Mayo, Ireland. Intuitively developed thorugh successive layers of oil paint and cold wax medium, they have a sculptural or object quality, evocative of containers or vessels with hidden or barely revealed contents.
